TRAVEL REQUIREMENT

Kenya Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA)

All visitors, including infants and children, who intend to travel to the Republic of Kenya must have an approved Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA) before the start of their journey, unless exempt.

An approved eTA is permission to travel. Admissibility is determined at the point of entry by immigration officials.

Recommended: apply at least 2 weeks before travel to allow sufficient processing time.

NATIONALITY-BASED EXEMPTIONS

90-Day and 60-Day Exempt Countries

Kenya immigration rules list specific nationalities that may be exempt from eTA for a limited duration, including categories for stays not exceeding 90 days and African countries for stays not exceeding 60 days.

Because these lists are long and may be updated, we recommend checking your status directly on the official portal before travel.

Note: The official exemptions include time limits and specific passport categories.
