ON ARRIVAL IN KENYA
Upon arrival in Kenya, all international travellers may be subject to routine Port Health screening conducted by Kenyan authorities at the point of entry.
Travellers who are required to hold a Yellow Fever vaccination certificate must be prepared to present the certificate before immigration clearance.
The Local Organising Committee strongly advises delegates to confirm their requirements well in advance to avoid unnecessary delays on arrival.
Visual guide only — eligibility is determined by official risk-country rules (arrival/transit).
HEALTH REQUIREMENT
Kenya requires a valid Yellow Fever vaccination certificate for travellers aged 1 year and above arriving from, or transiting through, countries with risk of Yellow Fever transmission, in line with WHO International Health Regulations (IHR).
YELLOW FEVER FAQs
You may need it if your transit through a Yellow Fever risk country is more than 12 hours (even if you do not leave the airport).
The certificate is only valid 10 days after vaccination. If you arrive earlier than that, you may face delays or denial at entry.
You should carry an official medical exemption letter. Entry decisions remain subject to port health and immigration checks on arrival.
