ARRIVAL IN KENYA
Delegates arriving in Kenya through Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), Nairobi, are strongly advised to connect by air to the South Coast.
The recommended option is a domestic flight from Nairobi to Ukunda Airstrip (UKA), which serves Diani Beach and is the closest airport to the conference venue.
This is the fastest, safest, and most convenient option for international delegates.
IMPORTANT ADVISORY
While it is possible to drive from Nairobi to Diani or use the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) to Mombasa, these options are not recommended for conference delegates.
COASTAL ARRIVAL
Delegates arriving at Moi International Airport (MBA), Mombasa, will need to transfer to Ukunda/Diani on the South Coast.
The journey can be busy and congested, particularly during peak hours. The Local Organising Committee recommends private or app-based taxi services.
SELF-TRANSFER OPTION
Delegates who prefer to arrange their own transfers may use established car hire services. Avis Kenya provides reliable rental options in Mombasa.
